Billionaire Reid Hoffman Regrets Backing Haley, Pauses Funding
In the hopes of defeating Trump, LinkedIn co-founder and Epstein’s associate Reid Hoffman funded Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign bid.
Now, he is regretting it.
A source close to Hoffman told CNBC that the billionaire is not planning to donate any more money to Haley after her devastating loss in the New Hampshire Republican primary.
Hoffman was one of Haley’s first big-time donors. While he claims to be Joe Biden’s supporter, he responded to JPMorgan Chase’s CEO Jamie Dimon when he urged business leaders to back the former South Carolina governor.
Hoffman’s adviser added, “To raise more money for Governor Haley, I’d have to see a path for her to win the primary.”
“That was plausible if she won New Hampshire, but I don’t see it now.”
Nimarata’s top rival and leading Republican nominee Donald Trump also warned billionaires who were funding the former UN ambassador that they would be banned from the “MAGA camp” if they continued to make their contribution.
