Sally Field, 76, was considered ‘ugly’ after choosing to age naturally – She discovered joy in being a grandmother to 5 children and living in an ocean-view house

Sally Field, 76, called ‘Ugly’ after deciding to age naturally. Try not to smile when you see her now and where she lives as a grandma of 5.

Many celebrities choose to undergo plastic surgeries to maintain a youthful appearance and take advantage of the opportunities that come with looking good in Hollywood.

Yet, actress Sally Field is among those in the film industry who are not willing to follow this trend.

Starring in movies like Smokey and the Bandit, Norma Rae, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Forrest Gump, Sally Field has won numerous awards for her acting, including Two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Film Award nominations, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two SAG Awards, and most recently the Life Achievement Award. It’s clear that Field has had an impressive career.

At 76 years old, she continues to look beautiful and embraces her natural appearance. She wore a stunning black gown and proudly showed off her grey hair during her speech for the SAG Achievement Award.

The actress mentioned that she felt cautious, quiet, and away from the limelight. However, she was uncertain about her words and actions on stage. She would surprise herself. She clarified that she didn’t seek praise or attention, although it was great.
Acting has forever been about safeguarding those precious moments when I feel complete, fully, and sometimes recklessly alive. Discovering a way to reach that point has always been a struggle.

They helped me discover things about myself that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I’ve been acting for nearly 60 years, and every day I’m proud to call myself an actor.
In 2016, she was questioned about her thoughts on portraying an older, quirky character named Doris Miller.

Field reassured NPR that being 70 years old is fine, as her age has brought her strength and she has earned the right to embrace it, despite her insecurities about her neck and other aspects of her appearance.
And when it comes to the natural process of getting older, Field chooses to remain authentic to herself despite the ongoing battle against ageism in Hollywood. “I can’t help but think, ‘I wish my neck wasn’t going through that,’ when I see myself on TV. Moreover, my eyes seem to be bulging and my face is sagging. However, I then encounter some of the women (who have had plastic surgery) that I used to find breathtaking. Oh no, I’m feeling that way now. I must avoid it! It would be disrespectful to who they are at this moment,” she once expressed.

Field got married twice and experienced two divorces. In 1986, she tied the knot with Steven Craig and had two sons with him. However, the couple divorced in 1975.

She later went on to date Burt Reynolds before tying the knot with film producer Alan Greisman. Field and Greisman have a son together.

After some time, she made the choice to dedicate herself completely to her career. However, it was when she became a grandmother that her life transformed in a whole new way.

She welcomed the new position and enjoys spending quality time with her grandchildren at her beautiful seaside home overlooking the ocean.

We love Sally Field.
