Kind Stories That Prove a Little Sympathy Goes a Long Way

Goodness isn’t just in fairy tales. Sometimes, regular people do something kind that feels like a miracle for strangers. Here are some stories from the Internet.

The Story:

One day while I was working at a fast food place, a lady left her Louis Vuitton bag on a table. I waited about 20 minutes but saw her leave, so I grabbed it and put it in lost and found without looking inside.

A month later, my boss said, “Hey, it’s been a month…do you want that bag?” I said yes and went to get it. I unzipped the top and found nothing inside but a piece of paper. The paper was a receipt for the bag and a note that said, “To the girl who needed a new purse during the holidays.”

Whoever this lady was, she meant to give the bag away. The receipt showed it cost $1700! I carefully put my things in it and took it home, not telling anyone. That purse helped me look good at many job interviews. I still keep the bag because it reminds me of the tough times when I didn’t have much and reminds me to give back to others.
