Veteran Pollster Gives Dems Bad News Over Opposition To Key Trump Policy

Veteran pollster Frank Luntz criticized CNN’s latest anti-Trump narrative, arguing that Democrats’ focus on terminated federal workers is failing to resonate with voters. During Trump’s congressional address, Democratic lawmakers invited fired employees as guests to highlight job losses under his administration.

Appearing on CNN, Luntz dismissed the strategy, stating, “People see through it… If it looks political, they will reject it.” He likened it to past Democratic missteps and warned that the party is focusing on the wrong issues.

At the center of the controversy is the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, which has overseen workforce reductions in agencies like HHS, the CDC, and HUD. While Democrats argue these cuts harm essential services, Republicans insist they are necessary to eliminate government waste.
