Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) called for Rep. Al Green (D-TX) to be censured after his disruptive protest during President Trump’s address to Congress. Green was forcibly removed for heckling, which Johnson condemned as “shameful” and unnecessary. Johnson suggested that if Democrats want to make Green the face of their resistance, it was their choice, but stressed that such behavior wouldn’t be tolerated on the House floor. He also stated that Republicans would likely introduce a resolution to censure Green.watch below..
