In the video, Pelosi admitted to failing to prepare for the National Guard’s presence, stating, “We did not have any accountability for what was going on there, and we should have.” Despite this, Pelosi later appeared on MSNBC to dismiss the footage as “revisionist history” and criticized Trump for attempting to rewrite the events of that day. Patel argued that Pelosi not only concealed evidence from the January 6th investigation but also misled the public while using the chaos for personal gain.
