Woman tries to take her seat on a plane – but she refuses, and what happens next has the internet is divided

A woman, who always books an extra seat for comfort due to her size, found herself in an uncomfortable situation when a mother with an 18-month-old child sat next to her. The mother asked her to give up one seat so her toddler could sit in it, but the woman refused, having paid for both seats. The flight attendant sided with the woman, asking the mother to hold her child in her lap, as required by airline policy.

The mother then made passive-aggressive remarks throughout the flight. Afterward, the woman questioned whether she had been unfair and sought opinions on Reddit. Many users supported her, arguing the mother should have paid for a seat for her child, while others sympathized with the mother’s situation but felt she should have planned better. Who do you think was in the right?
